National Tradie Day is celebrated annually to honor the hard-working men and women in the trades industry across Australia.

It takes place on the third Friday in September. This day recognises the essential contributions of tradespeople, including plumbers, electricians, and builders, to the community and economy. Celebrations often include events like the "Huge Tradie Brekkie," where tradies can come together to enjoy breakfast and connect with one another.
The Backbone of Our Communities
Tradies are the backbone of our communities, ensuring our daily lives run seamlessly. Whether it’s fixing a leaky tap, installing a new electrical system, or constructing a building from the ground up, their skills are invaluable. Tradie Day highlights the importance of these professions and the significant contributions they make to our society.

Celebrating Skill and Craftsmanship
Tradie Day is a time to celebrate the skill and craftsmanship that tradies possess. These professionals undergo rigorous training and apprenticeships to hone their abilities, and their dedication to their craft is truly remarkable. This day serves as a reminder of the value of skilled labour and the pride that comes with a job well done.
