Terry McEvoy

Terry McEvoy is a seasoned Vocational Education professional with over 25 years of experience in the sector. He began his career as a plumber, transitioning into education after a transformative workplace accident. Terry’s journey in education spans roles as a teacher, manager, and now director, driven by his passion for preparing the next generation of tradespeople for successful careers in industry. As the Director of the Built Environment and Sustainability program at RMIT, Terry serves as the Deputy Chair of the Victorian TAFE Construction Directors Forum.
Beyond his primary role, he contributes as a non-executive director and co-Chair of Mind Blank, a Queensland-based non-profit focused on mental health and suicide prevention. Additionally, he is a board member of Carers NT, representing unpaid carers in the Northern Territory, and serves as the NT representative on the Carers Australia Peak Body board
