Join us for the Acknowledgement of Country Workshop, where you’ll gain confidence in developing and delivering Acknowledgements of Country in a safe and respectful environment. Discover the significance of Acknowledgements of Country and why they’re so important.

This workshop, led by Kamilaroi woman, Ally Gallagher, and Arrernte woman, Lisa Hayward, will help you understand the importance of cultural respect and inclusivity. Foster a safe space for learning and get your questions answered.

Target audience: Managers, supervisors, team leaders, and field officers. 

Facilitator: Killara Foundation

The Killara Foundation assists Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander peoples to have sustainable employment by providing guidance, culture understanding and housing while individuals work, or are ready to live independently.

Killara works closely with key partners in the private, public, and Non-for-Profit sectors to promote cultural awareness, diversity, and inclusion within the community.

Killara facilitates a wide range of support services that address disadvantages experienced by Indigenous men, women, and children. Focused on providing stability, skills, and connection, our Life Skills Coaches and Program Leaders build lasting relationships with the people they engage with.
