IR Basics Workshop

AEN will be hosting an IR Basics workshop run by Janet Nicolson from WorkSight

The session will cover:

Modern Awards, the Fair Work Act and employment responsibilities to apprentices and trainees.

This workshop will focus on application and interpretation of awards and the Fair Work Act to the employment of apprentices and trainees.

The workshop aims to expand understanding of industrial relations concepts and how GTO employers can manage compliance with legal obligations.

The workshop will be useful for payroll staff and field officers who need to manage industrial relations conversations with host employers.
