It conducts Try Your Trade sessions to introduce women to electrical work, collaborates with schools, partners with Holmesglen for recruitment and utilises targeted advertising and social media campaigns.
To address the scarcity of host placements for adult female apprentices, the Host Wage Subsidy Incentive program provides financial support to host companies. Overall, WaTT empowers women in electrical apprenticeships while promoting gender diversity in the industry.
